It's a political move to pressure Iran. Iran is starting to thumb their nose a bit at the UN and persuing Uranium enrichment. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, just my take on the move.

I'm actually not so concerned with us selling weapons to other countries... Simply because other countries are going to buy weapons regardless of who's selling them...

Same thing with military training... so, we sell military weapons and train troops in Saudi Arabia... the plus side is, the weapons we sold them were US surplus and the military training we gave them came from American forces... So at least we know exactly what we are dealing with...

If we ever have to go to war with Saudi Arabia, we definitely have a one-up by predicting what their strategies might be in combat based on their troops movements and available arsenal....

The reality is, somebody is going to do sell weapons and training, might as well be us instead of the Russians or the EU, or perhaps China...

And I'm sure there are plenty of political reasons for doing what we do... America doesn't seem to judge things on morally right and wrong, but rather cause and effect...
