Relative to 538 electoral votes it's not much, but when you consider it's 7 of about 120 that are still 'undecided' in an election that will probably be about as close as 2000, it takes on greater importance. Take into account today's electoral-vote.com map and Kerry is only down by 17 with Iowa as a tie. He takes that, the score is 264 to 274, all he needs to do is swing a state as small as Kansas(6 EVs) and he wins.
