After voting yesterday, I noticed that 3/4 of our house seats are filled by Republicans with no opposition. So how do I run for one of these house seats? Why isn't a Dem running against them. In fact there were more Lib running against the Repubs.

That's exactly what got me thinking about it. And then I heard about this organization on NPR. They say they work with young people to turn them in to politicians capable of winning elections. Quote:

There's a possibility of me getting a roomate in the future, plus ... I don't think you'd want 800W of metal halide lighting over water in the middle of a dinky living room. It gets hot enough in my living room in the summer time. Quote:
