the way i see it, if i am not going to be happy with any of them then it won't really bother me who makes it into office. someone is going to and that someone is going to be either bush or kerry, regardless. if i vote, i'll bitch and if i don't i will still bitch. it just isn't at the top of my to do list. i have other worries in my personal world that i would rather spend my time and energies on.

Okay John. You can be a defeatist all you want, but you can't convince me that what I do means nothing. Thena gain, I understand that in order for the system to work, you have to work the system. You'd rather just give up and pretend that you don't have any power because it's easier than actually taking part and being involved. If you don't vote, then you don't have any say in anything that goes on in the country. So you voting your rights away. People with attitudes like yourselves are the reason that things are the way they are now. It's easier to give up and admit defeat than it is to put forth the effort. At least when things do change, I know that I will have taken an active role in that change and I did my part to see it through. Quote:
