today... no true ARTIFACT stands as case study to prove that evolution exists, but many theories have been generated over the era, that give light on the possibility. BAsic facts of life point toward the possibility that evolution effects our lives today.
not to mention the basic fact of life is to change isnt it...change is inevitable.
So whos to say its not possible, anything is possible...likely may be a different scenerio.

yes I read about that story 4 months ago and last night they had a story on night line about it. that ted is a cool ass mother fucker but ya most of science is a theory and in honesty just my opion I see evolution and those who do not belive in creation what is god is a way to say that they do not want rules or do not like to have something that is over them with all control.yes we control our lives but we should just relax and live .

Then how do you expain a species like the shark that has not changed in 3mil. years? Or the scorpion that has not changed in 450 million years? Clearly those species prove that change is not inevitable.

Also, a bird can not evolve into a horse even if it was crucial to the species survival. Sure there are some studies that show that species evolve and can adapt to thier evnironments, but evolution still can not be proven with hard evidence.

You guys are fucking retarded, and I think that you have the wrong idea of the definition of the word "theory". Gravity and electricity are both theoretical constructs. Darwin's theory of natural selection is backed up by a vast field of supporting evidence.

It's true that Darwin wasn't correct about every single detail. However, nearly every single field of modern science is in some way or another based off of the general idea of his findings.

Let me ask you fundamentalists this:

How many of you get flu shots every year?

How many of you take antibiotics when you come down with something?

How many of you would seek medical treatment if you were diagnosed with a terminal illness?

Fundamentalists are such hypocrites. They reap all of the benefits of science and then turn around and condemn it as if it's all some gigantic leap of faith because some guy with a beard said "This is how the world works lol". Science is not a leap of faith. It's years, sometimes centuries of collecting data and forming ideas based solely on those facts. It's not made up fairy tales about locusts and people parting large bodies of water with sticks.

I'm done with this conversation. Those of you who belive that evolution is just some crazy idea based on some half baked idea should be ashamed of yourselves as human beings. If I had my way you would all be sterilized so you couldn't reproduce.

Of course neither can creationism, faith is the foundation of creationism, so if ones faith is strong, wouldn't one accept science as revealing the magnitude of the unexplainable miracles behind our origin, rather than see it as a blasphemous attempt to discredit a narrow, literal interpretation of scripture. Isn't refusal to consider the viability of evolution indicative of someone reluctant to test their faith by considering the possibility that their religion is far more complex than the theological prozac they rely on to maintain a spiritually lazy existence tending a docile, unquestioning flock.
