What's up?

You hear the big new budget news from yesterday? Counting what they've already asked for and received, the bill for Iraq works out to about $1000 for every man woman and kid in this country on top of your normal tax burden, and right now we're only making the interest payments on it.

I keep wondering when those tight assed republicans are going to figure out their boy is going to bankrupt the trust fund.

I'm sure Osama is very pleased with the results he's gotten from the unwitting Bush.

1) He always hated Saddam, considered him an infidel
2) Recruitment into radical Islam is up 50000000000%
3) Dead Americans on TV every night
4) Busting the financial balls of the US for generations to come? Priceless....

Social Security is not Bushes fault. I hate Bush but get your facts straight beforw you make claims. SS was an inherited problem not a created one..

And he has not addressed the problem yet...He is now in his fifth year. Should we just wait till SS is insolvent or solve it now?

No need to attack, I agree 100%, but the SS issue is not so easily fixed. The government does not provide the SS funds for gramps, we do every week out of our paycheck. The problem is that when the baby boomers retire, there will be a 2 to 1 ratio as opposed to the 8 or 9 to 1 ratio we have now. In other words, right now, 8 or 9 people are working and funding one persons SS check. When all the baby boomers retire, the number will drop considerably, to about 2 people working for every one person retired. There is nothing I like about bush (except he used to do cocaine and was a drunk) but this is not something bush has done nor can he just "fix" it. Addressing the problem sounds like a good idea but there is no recommended solutions (worth mentioning here) for bush to proceed with. Most things of this nature are out of bushes control, its not like he can push a button and all of a sudden the problem is fixed, nor is his dumbass smart enough to think of a way to fix it. He has to wait for ideas to arise by his advisors before he can get the ball rolling and even then, somethings just can't be fixed..
