mostly the draft. the damn army is here full force today recruiting people left and right and i remembered reading that IF the draft were to come back women would not be excluded, even those with small children.
that plus its too much to ask when you consider physical and mental limitations for both sexes.
and its also makes us kinda seem like hypocrites when we demand equal rights yet so many of us try to charm our way into or out of something

yeah i read something similar to that in Marie Claire. the author was talking about trends in society and how women did used to want it all but now we see how hard it is to actually have it all so we're reverting back to the kitchen. personally i'm one of those women who wants to go back home. i respect my mom for being a working woman with 2 kids at home but i hated hated hated being a latchkey kid.
