Kinky Friedman running for Texas Governor

While this may all be HAWTALTA to a lot of Texans, I thought I would ask what others thought about this character and how he may "possibly" affect the system (if at all).

I know bits and pieces of his history and got to know a bit more on "CBS Sunday Morning" this morning. He is not Jello Biafra, but not a Cat Stevens either.

Thoughts?

I am going to vote for him. Texas politics are already a complete joke and I'd rather see Polly Shore running the state than that big-haired prick or the sorority snob senator.

I'm sure his first act would be to repeal the infamous "weezing" tax on all juice-related products passed in 1996 in retaliation for the release of 'Bio Dome'.

How can you not vote for a man that wrote songs with titles like "They Don't Make Jews Like Jesus Anymore"?
