how do they attack? naval landing? missile attack? bombing from aircraft? combination? we sink any naval vessels crossing the straights with aircraft, subs and ships. we knock any aircraft out of the air with surface to air missiles and with our fighters. they threaten to nuke us.... we give them Taiwan |

They've got the man power, but outdate machinery so I honestly don't think China would have the gaul to attack if we promote some sort of retaliation. I just see us promoting the status quo.

I wonder if the One China clause truly included Taiwan, or if it was mainly referring to Hong Kong. Damn the lawyer speak  The biggest "out there" possibility is a joint campaing between N.Korea and China, which would probably never happen. Chances are that China is just going to twist taiwans arm with political and economic sanctions. I honestly don't see force being used on this event.
