My sister's boyfriend is having all kinds of problems w/ his apartment... bugs, broken shit, outlets don't work etc... I remember someone on here being really knowledgeable about the options one has to deal with these situations. i know he needs to get everything in writing but he doesn't really understand what legally the owners are obligated to do. If someone could help it would be great. Thanks!

Make a list of all the shit that's fucked up. Take pictures of it. Go to your landlord or apartment office and ask to speak with someone about your problems and say you need them fixed. I think that about covers it.

also, you can look up the Housing Authority on the web and consult the rules there
