Bush Supporters Get Confused, Attack Protester on Their Side

At the pro-Bush rally several miles away, there were some heated moments when two members of Protest Warrior, a group that frequently holds counter protests to anti-war rallies, walked in with a sign that read "Say No to War — Unless a Democrat is President."

Many Bush supporters only saw the top of the sign and believed the men were war protesters, so they began shouting and chasing the pair out. One man tore up their signs. When Will Marean of Minneapolis kept repeating that he was on the Bush side and tried to explain Protest Warrior's mission, one Bush supporter shook his hand and apologized.




I know, this post is a cheap shot, but its just for fun.

I knew something like this was going to happen. I fucking knew it. I saw one of these signs from afar and could only make out the 'Say No to War' part until I saw it later on up close, and the message happened to be the opposite with 'Unless a Democrat is President' in letters not legible from a distance towards the bottom of the sign.

The person who designed that poster obviously didn't think things through.

It's actually beneficial for the anti-war crowd.

thats kind of the point BFP, the signs are designed to blend in with all the other signs until you read them a bit closer. This is how they have managed to get media to release photos of "war protestors" with their signs in the shots, the editors even missed it, it happened in Time mag last year I beleive.

At the risk of being hated by some of you..... I know Kfir and Alan (PW founders) very well. They are really good guys, successful, self made young buisness men, who are extremely passionate about what they do. They quit very high paying jobs in Silicon Valley to build PW a few years back. I dont see them changing gears because of a few kneejerk republicans who didnt read their signs completely. They walk for miles in war protests right along side protestors before THEY catch on to PW's gag.

I understand. However, if you're a passerby and you do not have the chance to look a little closer, it can be misleading, that's all.

The sign could use a little revising.
