What LEGAL action can I take?

At Blue Mesa tonight I was called a "nigger" by one of the employees of Blue Mesa: Southlake Carroll by an out duty employee trying to help close...

He also happened to take my ID off of the premises because he thought that I didn't pay my tab...well it was agreed upon beforehand that the dj that I was with was to pay my tab. Verbally he agreed to this agreement in front of the off duty employee who admitted, when questioned that he did in fact work at Blue Mesa...Mind you this whole entire time, I stayed quiet only answered questions when asked directly and only reverified the statements after the employee made them..."oh you called me a "nigger" that shows your ignorance...that sentiment should have died with your father..."
Now, I'll apologize for being black (but maybe I was born with it)...I'll apologize for not getting irate, angry or even mad at the words thrown at me out of anger or rage...

But I will not apologize for being charged double what the stated amount on the flyer was ($1.25 or was that double), being called a "nigger" and I will apologize for sucking behind the decks tonight...

but I keep trying to tell people, but they don't seem to hear me

Everytime I have heard the term, I look around and ask where the person in question sees one. I hear that they are like Woozles and Heffalumps (A.A. Milne humor).

Seriously, though, let the comment fly since you know your own character and then let the establishment know that will be more than happy to contact a local media outlet to let them know your story if they are not willing to return your card.

except for charging the guy with theft, because he unlawfully stole your ID and that is hard to prove and tenuous at best, there is nothing you can do unless you proved that his racism affected your service and that it was somehow a systemic problem with in Blue Mesa, especially since he was not working at the time.

well, I kinda looked around and noticed that I was the only african-american present so he must have been referring to me...
chuckled and then made my comment protected by a fence...

apparently, he is an ex-employee of Blue Mesa, but he openly admitted to being an employee and none present objected...

I've talked to the manager and it appears that the bartenders didn't do their job. They were not supposed to pick up or accept my ID as collaterel only a Credit Card was supposed to picked up. So the bartenders themselves failed to follow proper policy. They allowed a drunk bastard (sorry it just fits) to drive home to Garland.

I'm afraid because that ID has my parents address on it...
the manager on my side, said that I should press legal issues...
I gave the manager until 8 or 9 to come up with my ID...
