Condi is possibly going to be tapped for veep. White house is damage control bracing for the giant shit storm. Rove missed GOP massive today in fear that today would be the investigation finding anouncement. party has already begun distancing itself from all under investiagtion. this week is going to be wild. dems and real republicans rejoice.

You got that from usnews. It's totally inaccurate. A NYTimes piece today states that independent counsel Patrick Fitzgerald has indicated he has no intention of filing a final report on the Plame investigation this week.

???

Somehow, this has fanned speculation that he intends to file charges.

There is all of this talk that it's Cheney, or Rove, yet when you get down to brass tax, Fitzgerald & co. hasn't released any information at all.

Pure speculation at this point.

Ronnie Earle has moved to dismiss the charges on grounds of "outrageous government conduct."

The motion, filed on behalf of Jim Ellis, calls the case brought by Earle a "grim spectacle of a prosecutor run amok, intent on indicting his political opponents at any cost."

Do you have any information at all that he did something wrong? Last that I heard he was fully cooperating with the investigation, and that he will be cleared of this nonsense.

Whenever Cheney went to the CIA after the CIA told them there was no WMDs in March of 2000(when the war started), and demanded a report saying that there were WMD's as well as using the 911 aftermath to proceed with a war AND his previous company Halliburton being the contracted company, does it not seem odd to you that the events have occurred this way? These guys are crooks. The Bush family has been linked to everything from protecting Nazis, to the international drug trade yet people want to believe that our government never knew 911 was going to happen. Considering the business connections even between the Bush family and Bin laden family (as well as other Saudi families), how Bush Sr's Carlyle group being the no 2 US defense contractor since 911, and now practically the entire White House staff is under investigation and you want to say that "its completely different"? geeze do the math its not hard.

Now there is a lot of information regarding 911 yes. I don’t really have time to bicker each and every point made by various researchers however its freakin obvious that officials KNEW before it happened. After all the French, Germans and Australians knew and warned us before hand. I have yet to see a valid argument against that. Its been something ive researched for years personally and now all the lies are coming out, the administration is FINALLY getting investigated because its a CRIME to give away the identity of a CIA agent.

I just don’t get it why people defend this administration. Over 60% of Americans think the Iraq war was a mistake according the latest AP polls. They lied about the WMDs, they knew 911 was going to happen and didn’t protect us, they've been linked to some of the worse crimes of the last 100 years yet people want to believe that they're good Christian people without any ability to be selfish pigs.

no not libby, read the first post. some dude went to cheneys office from Bolton's people. he witnessed the outing scandal and the full court press they were putting on the cia and valerie Plame >or whatever the outed agents name was. this guy supposedly ratted out everyone to include dickey C. for immunity from the indictments that are a comin'.

I read the first post, it's based on rumors and nothing more at this point. If you think Cheney's going to resign over something like this, you're out of your mind. Short of finding aborted babies in his trunk, Cheney's in office until 2008 or the next major heart attack.

Libby's the one whose testimony contradicts Russert, and Rove is backing up that contradiction. Libby's the most likely to go down at this point.
