It's a matter of understanding that war is unavoidable in our current society. The old teach the young the ways of hate and discrimination, and the cycle repeats over and over. I think that eventually an understanding could be reach, maybe not of love for one another but at the very least respect.

If you are a religeous person you can also argue that without wars there would be no struggle, without struggle there would be no evolution of the whole. It is the condition of being human, of going through pain and suffering as well as joy and ecstasy and learning from them to eventually achieve ascension, nirvana, heaven, whatever you want to call it.

I wouldn't say that without wars there would be no struggle, but I would say the focus of that struggle would shift to much more trivial things. Think about television shows and the problems they protray today, murder and child abduction and all these horrible things, vs the problems they get into in "the andy griffith show"

TV has changed because society has changed and has requiered TV to change. Same with film, from the first days of film, to neorealism, to French New Wave, etc, etc..

Wars are created by man, the struggle is the outcome of it. Wars as I have included them here are meant to be an inclusion of minor altercations to full on out wars. So that was my bad for not writing it out properly.

Having their president wanting to destroy another country is one thing....but then having tons of people chanting "Death to America" the day after in the streets......well, all I can say is..."Sharon...break out those F-16s and get to work!"

When do you ever see tons of people in our streets yelling Death to Iran or North Korea or Iraq? I haven't seen one. Last time I saw someone with a sign in this country was on a shirt saying "Vote for Pedro".
