This is broad brush smearing now isn't. You made allegations without naming the target. Additionally - the smear is something with individual application. It is not the position of the right to advocate any of the things you mention - quite rather they would find fault in those things. The fact is that placing the bar high in terms of morality and falling short is, imo, far better than considering such issues quaint and not trying at all. The right did not give us the term moral relativety or cultural relativism.

OK, "nuke 'em all" is more of an average-Joe conservative phrase. However, I have heard prominent conservative thinkers like Walter Williams express this view much more eloquently. He recently said we should put nukes in the sky over Mecca and tell all the Arab leaders in the world that the next time there's a terrorist attack against the West, Mecca gets it. Now if that's not ignorant "nuke 'em all" chest-thumping from a right-wing intellectual then I don't know what is.

Good point. And yes, of course I'm overstating my point. I recently heard a political commentator say that the end of America would come when the far-right and far-left ban together to destroy all of us immoral heathens in the center. Still, and I don't know why exactly, but the right-wingers frighten me a whole lot more. Maybe it's the whole "God behind us" thing.

I've given these examples before. Limbaugh's an addict - they ignore it. O'Reilly's talking dildos with the secretary - they ignore it. These guys ARE moral and intellectual leaders for millions of conservatives and they just ignore their obvious moral shortcomings. Seems a bit hypocritical, don't it?
