Anyone in here been following his campaign? It seems he has a sincere heart and absolutely no idea how politics work, which I think is one of his main credits. I think he has enough support down here to take Travis county. What's the word in the rest of the state? I'm assuming our proud state's Republican constituency is going to send back the same ineffective legislature and that 80's-haired windbag of a governor that they've been belly-aching about for the last two years.

I don't know man.... I've seen ALOT of 'Why the hell not?' stickers around the DFW area. And I'm sure it's the same just about everywhere else. I love the jewish symbol next to the Texas flag. I have a cd of his a co-worker gave me to listen to. It's some of his 70's jewboy music. | |

I saw something the other day that gave me hope for him... Jacked up Ford Expedition, "W The President" sticker, Jesus Fish, Two Yellow magnet ribbons, and a "Kinky for Governor...While the Hell Not?" sticker. I think a growing number of Republicans are fed-up with the joke of a government we have in this state. It's politics at its worst and think we'd better off with anyone who wasn't a whore to special interest. |

I thought he was a joke, but after reading up on him a little bit and what he is standing up for and saying about our state government I cant think of a single politician in the last 30 years that has been closer to my own point of view. The democrats suck and the republicans suck and its about damn time we vote for someone else. I think I may be venturing out to vote for the first time in 6 years, I think this guy is actually worthy of the support.

He is a well-recieved writer, activist, and all-around people person. I used to listen to him back during the early 90's back in Houston on 101 KLOL. Mike Roos may have more stories than I on him. There was a special on him on "60 Minutes" last year that was quite informative. His understanding of our government (both local and national) should broker a lot of interest. |

I usually vote for independents anyway, so I'm glad to see he's actually getting some following. As Martha would say, that's a good thing.
