What if they threw an election and nobody came?

Hypothetical question....

If nobody voted on election day, would the powers that be step out from behind the curtain, and just proclaim their choice as dictator of America??

I mean President.....

No, I would simply proclaim myself Emperor and then take the rest of the day off.

Would you proclaim every day 420, and make it mandatory for executions for anyone over the age of 50??

I used to think NEVER TRUST ANYONE OVER 30, but as I am now two years from that age I think.....NEVER TRUST ANYONE OVER 50!!!!

Nope. All the free-love dope smoking hippies can go have their little solstice woods dancing good time if they'd like - what do I care - but they don't get sanction from the state.

Mandatory executions would not be amongst my interests... though perhaps I could be convinced for Vikings fans.

The reason you don't want to trust anyone over 30 is that you're unwilling to accept that they've got more experience with life and as such are justified in telling you to get your shit straight and get a fucking job. (Abbie Hoffman coined the phrase a long time ago btw). It sucks admitting you don't know everything and that your Dad just might.

No, but he has a right to think the way he does.... Spent two tours in vietnam, and forever questions the motives of anyone in power based on his experience....

you'd have to be a bit more specific - I'm not aware of anyone, trance geek or no, who loves war.... and if you could find that group... I guess i send them to smoke weed on your lawn

I couldn't be president... i can't compromise my beliefs enough to do the kinds of bullshit things a president is called on to do
