Afterparty Shooting In Seattle - Dallas Dance Music - Dallas nightlife, music, tickets, and more

Im a native seattilite, former resident of texas, currently in Germany.

As all of you know, 6 kids were shot to death in seattle at an afterparty that happened after an all ages EDM party called "Better Of Undead" The promotors of the party are good friends of mine, as were 3 of the kids shot to death by this sensless act.

As much as we don't want this to affect our scene, I believe it will. People from all around the united states in Chicago, LA, NY, Oregon, Las Vegas, and even over here in germany, are realling from this tragedy.

One of the individuals was a member of Chickenhed, a music and arts group from seattle but known for thier interesting styles shows at Burningman, and Phoenix Fest, his name was Jeremy aka"Dirty Jesus"

another was Christopher Williamson "Deacon808" He was an aspiring and very talented DJ of only 21 years old, he was getting himself clean, even removing himself from the party scene and the music he loved so that he could stay clean. This was his last party so he could say goodbye to his friends and persue college...

Then there was Jason Travers, a vegan, a kind soul who wouldnt hurt a fly, Worked for the Co-op, and was also a wholesale wine salesman.

Two of these kids actually worked at our local co-op. Being up here can be hella sad when there's more than the normal share of depressed, angry f*ckwads wandering around. This WILL affect scenes all over the country, even though they weren't at a "rave" when this occured. Some local talk dj's (not even the *sshole right- wingers) are blaming the murdered kid's parents!!!!! (BJ Shea on KISW, if anyone hates loud- mouthed know- it-alls)

And that kid Deacon808 had just packed ALL his "rave" clothes in a box and stuck them in the basement right before going to what would literally be his "last party". Truly, truly sad.

Kicker is I park in the parking lot of the apt.'s where this crazed lunatic and his twin- brother actually lived!
