Want to understand where Texas gets it's electricity from?

I was looking some information up and I found on page 6D in the Dallas Morning News on April 16, 2006 there is a story called "A primer on Texas coal" and it basically lays it all out for you.

It does focus mainly on coal and how it is used... but down at the bottom there is a chart called "Generating Comparisons" where it shows what percentage of Coal/Natural Gas/Nuclear/Wind is used and the pluses and minuses to each of them.

There was also a story on TXU on the first page of the business section dealing with their coal plants on that same date.

A story on page 4A on the April 19th DMN talks about water conservation and the problems in Dallas concerning it's water supplies.

There is a short story in Business Week from April 10th talking about Fusion and on the same page there is a story about cleaning our water supplies from leaking dangerous metals into them for years.

and on April 25th there was a front page story about TXU and their coal plants.

just some fyi's. i found these in the actual papers/magazine so i don't have links to them but you can find them easily enough if you want to.

on page 87 in the March 27th issue of Forbes there is an article about the Large Hadron Collider they are building in France/Switzerland.

tthree pages before that there is an advert for ADM which is a company the processes soy and corn and other things to make ethanol and bio-diesel

and what is sandwiched in between? an advert for Hummer.
