All joking aside, knowing some of the history of the Mao Communist chinese government, this story doesn't surprise me. It also makes some sense that it wouldn't be on the main news. It wouldn't sell that much advertising..plain simple and to the point. Plus we have all heard about all the human rights violations.

The epoch times was started by a group of falun dafa practicioners years ago who thought that the western media was doing a poor job of reporting on china and the persecution of falun dafa. Supposedly they no longer are affiliated with falun dafa practitioners but I find it hard to believe that all of a sudden a biased media outlet will suddenly become unbiased.

Im not saying its not true, but one unnamed person's "account" of what happened at the Sujiatun hospital is not much to go on.
The United States government reported on the oppression of falun dafa practiotioners multiple times in the past 5 years or so and has publicly asked the chinese government to stop.

According to the Hong Kong wire at least 35,000 practitioners have been detained and 5000 sent to labor camps without trial.

I'm anxious to see if the united states feels they need to do something about it again. Back in 2000 at the millennium peace summit the international commision on religious freedom called for the removal of permant trade status unless china improved its relations with falun dafa practitioners.
Nothing seems to have come of it.
