Bond, no bond...
the police and the toll tag made a mistake...
now whether the friend wants to show them their error and reek the benefits or not is her choice?
People talking about bond this, bond that, so what...That's like Malpractice!
Hepkatmama, is correct...she wouldn't be going head to head with one, but another and it would take a lawyer with the balls and the convictions to challenge the system. And I don't know if they exist in the majority, most lawyers would rather work smarter not harder, no matter the cause.
Albeit, if she can show proof of payment for the toll tag violation, in a court of law, any lawyer should be able to refund the money...if not more money for pain and suffering, for the laws' error, imho!
Alas, this could be my biased opinion after being fucked by the system and then realizing that I wouldn't only be challenging the authority of the dart officers, but the city of Dallas, indirectly!!!
