katie couric to replace dan rather who replaced walter kronkite.... ??????? wtf cbs, rly wtf i am a news junky. i like leher newshour & bbc on pbs, world news tonite, i like wfaa for local. never really watched today show. usually watch good day la in the morning cause jillian barberie is either retarded or a genius i'm not sure which. but as entertaining as jillian is, i would never expect her on a serious newshow. go back to the macy's parade katie. go there now. come back to be a good feminist journalist when u can grow up and be called kate. u would be ready if u did some field reporting in a warzone. but celeb interviews are not despot interviews. i'm very disappointed cbs.

i'm surprised anyone under 30 watches the evening news. shit's so passe. i keep up on news websites and lolies on the daily show. i know a lot of our generation and younger do the same.

steve was so patient with her. listening to her ramble on about how her new anti-depressant cocktail was killing her sex drive. jumping out of the anchor chair to show the camera her shoes. hard journalism like that. i don't usually watch morning news. prolly last when i was unemployed last summer. normally i listen to npr on the commute in, that or k104.

i liked it when it dorothy vs jillian. dorothy would report about a celeb. jillian would comment on hanging out with them over the past weekend. then of course, dorothy CONSTANTLY talking about her kid. so much that what his name, the old guy in the chopper, would raise that NO NASH sign. fuggin classic i think they mentioned real news for about 20 minutes the entire 3 hours.
