America defended Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The result? $70+ oil.The U.S. law prohibits price-fixing. OPEC manipulated the oil price, driving it to 50 times above the cost oil extraction cost. Oil is more profitable than heroin.The OPEC members use oil proceeds to fund religious fundamentalists who incite against America.We prosecute foreign drug cartels which violate the U.S. law without entering the country. This is completely gay. Sure the US government outlaws price fixing but US law means NOTHING to foreign countries whether friendly or not. Besides, don't 2/3 of our oil come from either domestic sources or South America? This thread=fail. Delete yourself now.

Deboer's is in a similar spot - they are in violation of anti-trust laws here so they sell to wholesalers abroad (under take it or leave it prices and batches - Deboer's is the anti-ideal of free trade) who may then sell in the US. Anyway - our oil mostly doesn't come from OPEC, SA usually violates production quotas with a little bit of pleasding from the US, and OPEC doesn't sell anything... | |
