I am so disturbed by this, National Guard ramps up "flat daddy" program
For kids and families that are having seperation problems with dads being shipped to Iraq the National Guard has started a flat daddy program that provides the family with a life size cutout of their dad to "take to the baseball game, shopping, or to the first day of school.

Im kinda disturbed by this, I would feel sick if my daughter was taking a cutout of me to school instead of having me there in person. This whole program seems creepy. Is it just me? Do you guys think this isnt wierd as fuck?

So I have an idea, next time a young kid is born to an active service person lets tell them a golf ball or a Jeep, hell even a chair is their daddy. Kinda like what they did to that one giraffe.

That is pretty fucked up IMO. However, I really appreciated the fact that my wife kept pointing out daddy in pictures while I was away so when I got back, he warmed up to me immediately. It was only the second time I had seen him afterall.
