i went to a&m. it's a great school if you're going for the education. i never noticed any particular elements of racism or homophobia, though...

I had heard hints of it and even experienced a small bit at FISHcamp back in '96. I was going to attend the Dwight E. Look College of Engineering and stay at Lechner Hall (aka "LechNERD Hall", LOL), but the wind of the world caught me and I was off on a trip and never came back. It was more the Aggie band and ROTC members rather than faculty and such from what I heard from friends that attended.

People of color cannot by definition be racist be racism is an act of power against the powerless. Black people are powerless and therefore cannot defend themselves and require white people to defend them against other nasty white people who are racist. Got that?
