Here's the deal - yes - the GOP takes more heat for moral shortcomings* and Republicans should take more heat for those failings... especially when they make a point of promoting strong moral values. Humans are inherently falible and moral crusaders will fuck up and fail. However, that is no reason not to set the bar at a higher standard.

Well he got relected several times and a committee chair and literally turned his back on the House when it censured him. The Republican who got busted for a comparable act got tossed out on his ear by Republican voters

thank you for that I am glad that you see it and have some goddamned humor in it. just curious which democratic congressman was that, on either side? and your totally right I mean really on both sides how many perverts are there? probably not many, I think if we can get the earmarking down and maybe an easier way to actually see what is in each bill that would make the legislature a lot more transparent. and maybe get that bar up a bit.

Scandal after scandal involving his wife and several other instances including a very mysterious death of someone close to them and the Clinton dealings.
