well... if Simmons did go to those places to investigate conflict diamonds then yea... he is kind of a fool. that's like going to Kentucky to investigate crimes in Deep Ellum.

even if he had investigated the appropriate areas and still found that only a very small percentage of profits funds war, that small number still affects thousands of people when you think of the population collectively. that's too many.
