Next PM of UK Wants "New World Order" to fight global warming

LONDON (AFP) - Gordon Brown, likely to be the next prime minister, will deliver a speech calling for a "new world order" to combat global warming on Monday. Brown will also say the United Nations should make the fight against global warming a core "pillar" of its international mission.

Brown will praise the European Union's progress in combatting climate change after EU leaders on Friday agreed to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide by 20 percent by 2020, compared to 1990 levels.

He is set to announce domestic policy proposals that are targetted at helping Britons save energy, thereby cutting their individual carbon emissions, ahead of the government's publication of its Climate Change Bill on Tuesday.

"People want to make the right choices and they want help to take the right decisions," Brown will say. "Government must provide practical help with, wherever possible, incentives in preference to penalties." Brown is the favourite to be Britain's next prime minister, as Tony Blair has pledged to step down by September.

They are on the right track. Its funny as those Fuckwit Republicans are trying to downplay a humanitarian act for the planet.But then Bush and his treason(able) crew dont know anything about saving the Earth as all they want is Corporations and make themselves richer and rest poorer.

How much longer will it take him to realise he is on his own...rest of the world is starting to seperate themselves from him,his own party people are seeing it and the Democratic Party will be trying to fix it(will be hard to fix what is damaged already though)

To what extent has global temperature variation been demonstrated to be a result of human activity such that the variation cannot be explained by looking to natural climate fluctuations? Or is that a fuckwit question? Should we permit the UN to dictate how mauch energy we use? Of the two question I think one is a great deal more fuckwit than the other.



Global warming is measurable - attributing it to human activity is theory. Certainly we contribute to pollution and must do more to maintain a clean and healthy environoment in which we live. However, so many have bought so deeply the notion of global warming that the believe every prediction no matter how dire or absurd and appear willing to hand over such tremendous authority to their government that it is shocking. Global warming adherents are an orthodox lot who scream all types of nasty things at anyone who would dare question or (god help them) criticize the theory. And that's fuckwit.

His home of a meager 4000 sq feet uses 25% of the energy most homes that size in the U.S. do due to some ingenious methods they adopted in the construction of the home. Are you aware of this or are you just spouting off some hate?
