I thought it was awesome the way Liz handled up on that bitch. We need to see more of that, instead of all these statements released to the press to get back to whoever said what nasty thing about someone. She definitely gained some points with me by doing that.

I think its LOL that Ann Coulter can dish it out about dead kids, cancer, AIDS, you name it but she is so thin skinned that someone simply asking her to be pollite backs her into a corner and makes her babble incoherently while panicing about how she jsut cant believe that they arent nice to her.

She's an unmitigated bitch of course but Matthews kinda sandbagged her. Coulter's manner requires her to be defiant like that. Not sure why people get so worked up by her... change the fucking channel.

because it makes people react - she's a polemicist

people get worked up about her for the following two reasons:

1. She spits out hate talk
2. People actually buy her books

Since she is an influence of sorts, it would be great for her to not be a hatemonger.

Hate mongering is an equal opportunity profession. The terrible thing is that some people take her seriously. Anyway, like I said, people need to turn the channel when she (and those like her) come on... but they don't. We like to listen to vicious advocates who attack people with whom we disagree... Sad.

I'm not claiming Ann has a monopoly on it, but she's especially spiteful.

Good point that Liz may have been asking the wrong question to the wrong people. maybe she should have worded it like this:

"Hey all you americans, stop being titty-babies and bitches and let's act nicey-nice like adults ask kids to do."
