 | How can you not be FOR gay marriage?
i'm watching this democratic debate and they are all saying they are against gay marriage but for civil unions. is it just me or is that complete horseshit? what is the big fucking deal? you'll give them everything that a marriage consists of except for the label "marriage." i seriously don't understand why every single candidate doesn't say that they have no issue with homos getting married. i don't get what the big deal is.

yeah, they keep saying they'll give them full civil unions with every right and benefit of marriage... but not actual marriage. who is benefiting from that shit? the homophobic people who hate gay people don't win because they get the rights and benefits... and the homos don't win because they don't get the marriage. it's bullshit imo. let them get married. ps. that movie I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry was lame.

i agree Miles, that's why they should just allow it and stop debating it. i think Iraq is nearing to be a non-issue... they need to bring the troops home. Darfur is next imo. personally the least important issue imo is the national healthcare issue... i don't see that as being a big deal. probably because i haven't experienced a bunch of problems with it.
