There was a concerted effort by the 'fringe' candidates to submarine Hillary. Kucinich and a couple others told their constituents that if they weren't going to get the necessary 15% for their candidate(it's a weird Iowa Dem caucus rule, I don't know all the details of it) to vote for Obama. So that has to be taken into account when you see the results. There's a lot of the Dem candidates who are ganging up on Hillary. The funny thing is that Kucinich may have screwed himself in the process because ABC is excluding him from the next debate because he didn't get enough votes in Iowa.

Yeah, I've been told by those more experienced in this than I that the remaining caucuses will most likely not look anything like this one... Huckabee won't be winning the next two and even though Guiliani lost this one by a huge margin, he has a good chance of winning some of the remaining ones.

I just know I don't want Romney, Huckabee, Richardson, or Guiliani as President.

Why do you think Richardson would make a good VP? I'm curious. I've heard him speak twice over the tele and the guy just doesn't sit well with me... I should've written down what he said that was asinine but I didn't.

Just quote any text from the debates and you'll probably have something.

![]() | I think he'd make a good VP because he's conservative enough to win over a lot of moderates and Regan Democrats. Besides, he's got cred with regards to intl. diplomacy so he'd be useful with regards to repairing our image around the world. It's not like he'd be setting any policy decisions, as the office isn't worth "a bucket of warm piss," as the saying goes.

Richardson and Intl Diplomacy? doesn't he support the war and support more war in the future?

![]() | I think Cheney's an exception, and after him the office will return to normal. His tenure as VP has been unusual in every respect, from drunken shootings to an unprecedented level of secrecy. He only increased the power of the office temporarily, IMO, but once the Leg and Judiciary get a chance they'll put a damper on things.

![]() | if you have time, post me up some info that backs that up because i could've sworn that he wasn't expressing that opinion when i heard him speak. i put him on my shitlist because of his war opinions.

hmmm... it is quite possible I wrote down the wrong candidate name because what I read in those two things you posted is not anything like I remember hearing. I need to find a picture of the candidates to make sure I saw the right guy. I, too, like what he said in that first excerpt... it's too bad that they invaded Iraq anyway instead of listening to what he said.

go black man go!!!!! i dont think Rudy will get too close simply because his personal life has been such a public mess. The mistresses, the divorces, the fucked up kids...people pay attention to that shit...and the right (officially) doesnt stand for that sort of pish posh (although most of them are doing the same thing when they're not busy trying to have secret gay sex) Its one thing if all that shit comes out while IN office, but if people know your life is a mess before you even go in......kinda hard to make people believe you can run a country if you can't even keep your own house in order i wouldnt mind if someone stabbed Huck with that damned bass he's always playing on tv, whats that about?
