I read the endorsement for Clinton prepared to be very pissed off, but I think the writer did a very good job making his case. I still don't like Clinton and think she can be an underhanded, win-at-all-costs bitch, but I do agree that her stance on the issues does not differ much from Obama's. The problem is, she is so unliked that putting any of her plans into action might be an uphill battle. Obama does lack the experience she has, but his likeablility crosses party lines so I see him being a lot more effective on domestic issues. Clinton might have a slight advantage when it comes to foreign relations, but I'm not 100% decided on that. Didn't bother to read the McCain endorsement. He, along with the rest of the Republicans, can kiss my lily white ass. |

Hey great, I'll let a newspaper tell me what to think. That should work out wonderfully.

They've been endorsing candidates for decades, if not centuries.

This is the first presidential campaign I've taken this much interest in. I started paying a lot more attention to current affairs after 9/11, but I could never really muster up much enthusiasm for any of the candidates before now, so I didn't spend a lot of time following the elections before election day. Either way, that article didn't do much to sway my opinion on Clinton or Obama. |

and it's not about letting them make your decision for you, it's about listening to their opinion and taking that into account... if you choose to do so. or you can not do so and go about making your opinions however you do so.

Sorry, not trying to call you out. I just don't understand why anyone would listen to a newspaper editor instead of doing research themselves.

the problem with Clinton at this particular time in our history is that she is a woman having to deal with several issues involving cultures that are somewhat hostile toward women. I think it would be a huge mistake for her to be elected president right now. Maybe in 4 more years, but not while we are at war with cultures who have no respect for women.

Newsflash: in 4 years, we're still going to be at war with cultures who have no respect for women. In 40 years, we're still going to be at war with cultures who have no respect for women. In 100 years....need I continue?
