'Abortion' Search Block

So... on the Popline website (http://db.jhuccp.org/ics-wpd/popweb/ - project of John Hopkins University)... the term "abortion" was blocked for a small time.

The reason is because the search would turn up articles for an abortion advocacy magazine named "A".

The site is funded federaly by the U.S. Agency for International Development. According to the article, they cannot by law support abortion activities.... only abortion statistics or research.

After some bitching, people got the term put back into the search tool.

My question is, if they cannot support it.... and they provide funding for a site that allows it - is that proper?
Technicaly...yea, it probably is
morally (yes, according to MY morals).... no, i dont think so

also.. why doesn't the site just remove the link to these pages from the search?

And I have to mention the various websites that can be found online by searching for "abortion" that seem to be friendly and inviting towards scared women, but are actually pro-life sites.. Example: http://www.abortionfacts.com

abortion stance is not a religious one, but a scientific one.... it is only propagated by religious factions

the reason why people on this side of the argument wont "leave everyone else alone" is because we are trying to save the life of a person who can't defend for it themself
