-Lapel pins are so ridiculously arbitrary, it's like the line in good will hunting about eating a bunch of caramels because it's just as arbitrary as drinking coffe. My best friends mom is fighting breast cancer right now, and not a single damned one of us has a fucking pink ribbon on our shirt or car. Obviously we must not care about her well being because we didn't put a fucking ribbon on to show our support! IT'S A GODDAMNED LAPEL PIN, LET IT GO! -If you care about the comparison between a presidential candidate's patriotism and his pastor's, then you seriously need a reality check about what's going on in this country. His pastor's not running, and there's absolutely no point in having any kind of pissing contest involving something as abstract as a person's "patriotism," the meaning of which has been corrupted and bastardized by the neo-cons to stir idiots with flags on their trucks into a frenzy and completely disavow the true meaning of the democratic process.

-The capital gains tax is one of the ways we can actually get a fair taxation out of the lucky few who get a break via the payroll cap being set so low. Cry me a river.

-and when did people making 200k to 250k become so damn important? I'm not saying there aren't higher brackets to be taxed, but jesus, Gibson kept hammering about people making this amount. These people don't fucking need lower taxes, and it wouldn't kill them if they went up a lil bit to pre-bush levels. Raise the payroll cap all you want, it won't affect the VAST majority of Americans except for those who can afford it anyways!

It wasn't even partisanly biased, it was obviously a bunch of people ganging up on the guy to try to make him look bad. I loved that he just flat out said that the questions he was being asked were distractions from the real issues rather than simply answering the questions seriously, but then also provided answers so as to not evade them completely. What a fuckin sham.
