SAN FRANCISCO - In a monumental victory for the gay rights movement, the California Supreme Court overturned a voter-approved ban on gay marriage Thursday in a ruling that would allow same-sex couples in the nation's biggest state to tie the knot. While I disagree with the ban and don't know what the law or constitution in Cali says... democracy permits the voters to decide the most important issues of the day.... not 7 people. The Cali Ct decided the people of California cannot be trusted to vote correctly. Though they are right about the vote being wrong it isn't their place, imo, to take the decision away from them. |

I'm glad they overturned it. I hope this happens in every state, especially here. I want my sis to be able to officially tie the knot.
