if the 4th amendment doesn't protect us from warrantless searches than the 2nd ammendent sure as hell doesn't mean we all get to have guns...

That's not even an argument

The fact is that the 4th doesn't in all cases protect us from warrantless searches.. in many cases it doesn't.

The 2nd is not ambiguous excepting some newly devised notions of a collective right that were invented in the 20th century
