I don't expect him to name their top imports & exports from memory, but the fact that they split 15 years ago and he's still calling them by the wrong name is a sign he's not paying enough attention. Is it the pre-eminent issue in the campaign? Of course not. But this is the president of the US we're talking about, the bar on geography needs to be set a little higher than it is for a GED exam. The fact that we're signing defense agreements with them means both candidates should at least know the name of the friggin' country.

I relatively sure that, as his 3rd time doing this, he has been corrected and briefed on the current czech situation multiple times. I highly doubt he "doesnt know"

When I was in the old country, we would take dinner plates and paint them black and put them in the streets to scare away the the russian tank drivers. You had to mix it up with a real land mine everyone once in a while or they would just crush all your plates.

Do you know how many people still refer to the ukrain? most of them are from the ukrain because they don't want o be thought of as communist russians. Really, how many dumb ass americans would know where the countries were on the map that were formerly czech. Isn't it just more easy to call it czech? maybe disrespectful, but who cares.

if you just call it czech (I suppose even without saying republic afterwards) it's still more correct than calling it czechoslovakia

I'm glad he has to be briefed & corrected multiple times that it hasn't been Czechlosovokia for 15 years. That really expands my faith on his mental capacity.

And Sesame Street is really in California, not New York. Who cares and why is this such a big issue?

I forgot Juan's(juandingo) name once at a party even though we had met before. Sometimes I say fustrated when I meant frustrated by a slip of tongue. Sometimes I type too fast and spell out "teh" and "adn". For the longest I didn't know they don't have Irish Spring soap or celebrate St.Patrick's Day in Ireland. Does that mean I not fit for a management possition at my work?

No not at all, but maybe for president.... image is important too. You don't wanna look like a damn fool if you're the leader of a country. We've been ridiculed enough with our current clown of a president.
