McCain says anyone making under $80,000/yr is stupid, and you need 5mil to be wealthy

Tonight, Rev. Rick Warren held an interview with John McCain and Barack Obama, showing the senators in the same venue for the first time. McCain made clear his ideas between rich and poor, when he said that the line between rich and poor is $5 million a year.
This goes hand-in-hand with a statment McCain said last week at a private get-together. When joking about lopsided tax breaks at dinner, he purportedly justified it by saying, “People who make under $80,000 are too stupid to understand taxes anyway.”

Thats mostly due to my anger for what the Republican party has become over the last 10-12 years. I have always disliked the Democrats and quite frankly Im just not surprised by the scandals that originate out of that camp.

It does blow my mind on a daily basis that anyone within the GOP can support John McCain. I cant really think of a worse candidate beyond another Bush that they could have picked for the ticket. So each day when the old man stumbles around and incoherently spouts out bullshit that the mainstream media ignores, Im going to post it.

As for McCain as a candidate... wasn't even my third choice but he the only alternative that can beat Obama. George F Will said of him that we (the GOP) have a process for selecting a candidate. McCain played and won. It is not for the GOP to sulk like Achilles but to support their candidate. I agree. Politics isn't pretty.
