Tommy Chong did not go to jail for his part in the whole bong fiasco. He went to jail because the feds wanted to put his son and other members of his family in jail for it... but they offered him to take the rap for it instead since he is a much more high profile person. The actual company was not Tommy's company. It was his son's.

He pled guilty in exchange for the feds dropping charges against his wife and son to be sure but one doesn't go to jail as a proxy... he was guilty and went to jail for it. His son started the company but Tommy Chong got involved with it... financing it and lending his celebrity to market it.

This isn't an uncommon technique. There was a Madam whose daughter went to law school w/my father. The police couldn't bust her but they said they could raise holy hell with her daughter's application for admission to the bar so they got a confession etc that way

I don't believe that this act, brought to term by Joe Biden was a proper move. There have been some drug czars like Henry Anslinger, Reagan's right hand man and even it seems, Joe Biden himself...that have taken bills to legislation without proper research. Anslinger convinced the public that marijuana was a Narcotic. Reagan's man took a page out of Anslinger's book and it seems that Biden is just following in their wake. While i don't agree with the legalization of all drugs, "In America", I do wholeheartedly agree with the legalization of Marijuana. I do believe and it has been proven time and time again, that marijunana kills less annually then Tobacco or Alcohol individually and combined the numbers are outstanding. What Biden is missing in his statements and his awareness...is simply a matter of research and understanding. It can be proven that members of the Opium family, Methamphetamine Family and Alcohol itself [in the form of wine] has been the cause of the perpetuation of many a war.

What America is missing is a choice! Biden might think, that by by stopping dance events and by pushing laws into legislation, he might be saving lives, but maybe he needs to look at the results of properly researched studies. I guess he believes, that the information is inadmissable, but I believe believe it should be at least considered...

It was an analogous argument extended out into silliness to show that the form of argument you used was absurd. It is silly to argue weed should be legal because it doesn't kill as many people as other drugs.

My point was to show that if we were given the choice, it would be more advantageous, then the choices we do have! The choices We have alcohol and tobacco and anything prescribed. Albeit, the choice to receive medically prescribed marijuana is not available. I'm not saying that everyone deserves to have a prescription, but having the availability to harm myself with A) Alcohol or B) Marijuana, should be presented for the betterment of the whole. You may not. You might be find with alcohol being legal and that is your stance. Cool!

I watched the history channel. It stated that Hitler was given a shot of meth essentially, in the morning before he woke up and before he went to sleep.

So your telling me, that a bunch of drunken or amped-upped soldiers wouldn't fight longer then sober ones. R U SERIOUS?
