All that means is that you happen to be in the lucky tax bracket containing the inflection point between those who should or shouldn't bear the majority of the tax burden - according to Obama's plan.

I thought the issue was the reliability of those tax charts... or rather unreliability.

As for the deficit - I don't know. McCain was way down on my list of guys I wanted to support so I'm pretty much a single issue voter (judges) sadly I don't need to know anything more for him to get my support when I find the aternative unthinkable.

Frankly, he's going to have a DNC controlled congress so spending won't be entirely within his control. Hopefully he'll figure out that whole veto thingy sooner than GW and hopefully he'll have greater fiscal restraint. But, not counting on either candidate showing much of that.

I think its understood to be of tremendous importance to many but I think both candidates are afraid to bring it to the fore because its a wildcard and could blow up in their faces... that or I'm wrong and most people don't give a shit about it

I just streamed it off of Youtube. Overall, it's a decent speech. From my end, it seemed like the words coming out of her mouth were foreign to her vocabulary. The best analogy I can come up with is like when you're really hung over and indifferent and then you have to read something aloud. You have all the awkward pauses but you're trying so hard to make your eyes, words and comprehension process in the correct order. Haha.

I was pretty apathetic to the tax topic. I figure, no matter who's president, we're going to be paying out the ass. It's a harsh reality, but it's reality none the less. Money can be hard to obtain, or easy.
