![]() | again acts not widely accepted with most countries. God does not doom anyone, we only doom ourselves, with our actions. Some may call this Karma.

Im not saying abandon New Orleans people, just saying use the taxpayer moneys doing something more logical. If this hurricane destroys new orleans this time, what would your reccommendation be? Let's rebuild? I mean come on, they are not even finished from Katrina! Seems like a waste of money/natural resources to continue to rebuild in an area, below sea level, without using money to withstand A Category 5 at the minimal!!! We're not using this money appropriately. I am sure most of the people of New Orleans would want to be put in a situation where they don't have to evacuate twice a year! What would you reccommend? You can't keep doing the same thing and expect different results!!! edited: Well, after looking at the cnn.com report w/ estimated projected cost by fema, looks like this storm will cost (at least) estimated 24 billion. Well, I don' t know about anyone else, but this is good for my business, just hate that we fix it only to fix it again! Now Hiring: Storm relief effort, caravan down to the gulf, and assist in effort to rebuild, over and over again! Great job, travel benifits, long term pay, and job security!! Have work, year in and year out!! Pm me if interested!

i'm sayin with proper levee systems and other storm surge prevention methods new orleans will be just fine unless the the ice caps melt and the oceans rise 20 feet. mind you, that's provided that the protection systems are properly put in place and kept up.

![]() | Looks like the levees somewhat held up properly. seems to me that thing could be raised an extra 10 ft or so! New Orleans, may have gotten lucky for this particular storm.
