Hopefully it will go better for you guys than it did for Lehman. I have a friend that worked at Lehman money management division. When the company filed Chapter 11 they were told to not worry about it and go into work as usual. This morning he hit me up on AIM, said that when he went into work this morning everyone was packing up their shit and they had a security guard at the door making sure no one was taking computers or office supplies. Apparently the whole division was sold and all of the employees were laid off this morning. They were told not to expect another paycheck (they get paid monthly on the 1st), and that they would be liable for any balances left on company credit cards.

Needless to say he is shitting bricks this morning because he has to decide between using what little money he has in his account to pay rent for 30 more days, or use that money to move back to Texas to find a job before he is stuck out there.
