This is the fundimental point where our government goes wrong. Riders on bills. I think all unrelated issues should be voted on separately. this is a good thing but stupid to tack on to the bailout. Energy credit for geothermal heat pump systems. |

| As does the GOP, despite every top Republican in the nation screaming and yelling about how important the bill was the entire party just gave the leadership the finger and voted no anyway. Honestly the GOP voting down the bill last time kinda gave me some hope for the party.....its almost like they remembered what the party platform was for a few minutes.
