They get some press, a black guy or white woman might make it in office, and the world doesn't stop turning.

If he does a good job, it is a fluke to them and if he does a bad job, it is more impetus for them and tenure. The deck was stacked before it ever was dealt (if you look at their viewpoint as God awful as it is).

Doesn't bother me. They would hate a white woman almost as much as a black guy, so either one is a good enough affront to them to make me chuckle somewhat.
