well it would have been stupid, cuz there has always been white men on the bench.

i will admit it is a precarious choice of words, perhaps 'different' would be more appropriate than 'better'.

All well and good that you think she should have chosen different words. She didn't though. She chose them in a prepared speech to Berkley School of Law students. That's not just a slip or an oversight.

Doesn't much matter. The DNC has the votes. Even if the GOP could block her I wouldn't argue they shouldn't. Obama is the President and he gets to pick the judges.
