The comment would be more interesting if he gave some specific reference to when, where and how what provision was violated.

I don't question his expertise as a general. I want him to be able to effectively project force and control territory or people or gov'ts etc. I'm not expecting him to be a legal scholar - and I fucking hate how legal issues have complicated war.*. (conceding that he's a brilliant man with an outstanding education and more importantly amazing accomplishment... simply suggesting more than vagueries woud be useful to decide whether one may agree or disagree w/him)
