If you're against Sharia courts in the UK, then you better on the same token oppose Beth Din courts as well. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. No religious courts in the UK, period.

Read an interesting comment from a demographer the other day.. in the UK the largest (and I'm trying to recall his wording - I'll try to look it up and clarify later) cohort of Christians are brits over 70 and the largest cohort (he used that word - cohort - not sure wtf it means) of Muslims are in the under 4 catagory. He based his comments on statistics from some Brit gov't agncy.

I don't believe I offered an opinion... but... no, I don't think sharia should be incorporated into UK law but so what; its entirely their choice.

The Islam of the UK is not the predominantly peaceful gathering like we see in the states. Religious extremists taking to the streets regularly inciting riots and declaring the death of Britain...

and they get away with it. The white British working class has been pissed off for decades now. There's been a lot of tolerance, despite the tensions. Far too much tolerance. Children and families all over poor london estates are threatened by gangs of Muslim teens giving them the option of conversion or death. I don't care if the incidents are isolated or wide spread, the British government should be coming down hard.

A good chunk of Britain is poor and they've always taken issue with the rich whether through political parties, protest, of down right hooliganism. They're not Swedes, the English get pretty angry.
