...and the arguments are novel but more likely than Islam being the source of Englsih Common Law is Islam's contact with the classical world and their adoption of elements of roman law... which is why we see so much latin in legal terms and no arabic. Think about it... they were the successors to the Roman empire. Still, interesting to ponder.
