BTW... for anyone who is curious. Aside from the media pump that the banks are healthy and repaying TARP... it looks like Joe Q taxpayer will only recoup .66 on the dollar.

Its a good thing that Goldman is already setting aside more than 11B in bonuses/raises this year so far.

It's all good. Confused me for a bit though, because if they really had set aside $700B of bonuses I couldn't imagine it not being plastered on every news outlet in the world... lol.

I fixed it. The total so far is 11B. Funny the projects I was working on were 600M and 6B lol

Yeah, the "average" GS employee bonus is $700,000. That does NOT include the CEO types and their hundreds of millions.

Why no outrage? look it up, you might be surprised at what you find. The connections are absolutely mind boggling. Here are a couple I can remember right off the top of my head: Bear Stearns (no Tarp money, allowed to fail) why: direct competitor of Goldman Sachs, AIG (yes Tarp money) why: 10billion owed to Goldman Sachs.

Why no ACORN protests at the homes of CEO's of Goldman Sachs??.... Hmmm
