![]() | Fuel City longhorn killed by wild dogs
I'll give some background on this. I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but I had an asshole neighbor across the street who let his aggressive dogs run wild. While we were packing our house on Tuesday the larger one started coming out in a hole in the gate of the property. A guy runs over from nowhere yelling at the dog and driving him back into the yard and puts something over the gate. Turns out the guy was the owner of a newly renovated house for sale about one house north away from ours. We have a conversation and he tells me that this particular dog has killed three neighborhood cats and the owner told the guy directly next to that "If he didn't like his dog then he could just shoot him". I told him I had already called Animal Control on him 3 times, and he said that he's called them at least 10 times on him. Then he tells me that a longhorn was killed by a pack of stray dogs at Fuel City and that he's friends with the owner. He told me that there are about ten dangerous dogs who run in a pack in our neighborhood and suspected the dog across the street to be involved in the longhorn attack. In any case, big money's involved now that a member of an endangered species has been killed. I informed the property owner of our place that day of what I was told, who told me she would immediately make a call to her contact at City Council to get something done. I hope they nail this fuckbag and all the dog owners like him to the wall. http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcont....2b2a5a48.html

That is some bullshit. It's so sad that people get these dogs, mistreat them and leave them loose. Sorry, not to make light of the situation, but bit about "packs of wild dogs" does remind me of this:
